Alhagie Sandang Bojang, chairman of the Abubacarr Sidique Foundation for Orphans and Needy Welfare (ASFONW), who also doubles as the director of Trust Agency for Rural Development (TARUD), a local NGO in Gunjur, has applauded British philanthropist Birby and her colleagues for supporting his foundation’s students with learning materials.
Mr Bojang expressed appreciation recently at the day-long sports Jamboree organized by his Welfare in collaboration with British philanthropist Birby and her colleagues.
According to him, the learning materials would really boost and aid orphans in their education and he urged the beneficiaries to make best use of the learning materials given to them by Birby and her people.
He seized the opportunity to call on other donors to emulate Birby and her colleagues for the wonderful gesture, adding that his Welfare is really delighted at receiving learning materials from them for the orphans and needy.
He said his foundation would continue to render more support to the education of the orphans and needy in Gunjur and its environs in the years to come.
He commended Joe and Alagie Bojang of Gunjur Project Lodge for linking his foundation with Birby and her colleagues from the United Kingdom (UK) and urged them to continue rendering support to his Foundation.
