The ongoing trial involving Juergen Odenward, General Manager of the Ocean Bay Hotel, could not proceed on Monday at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court before Principal Magistrate Tabally.
Juergen Odenward was arrested on 23 April 2011, at his office in Ocean Bay Hotel at Cape Point Bakau, for allegedly being in possession of illegal drugs (cannabis).
When the case was called, the court was informed that both the prosecution and the defence counsel agreed for the case to be adjourned.
Consequently, the case was adjourned to 29 September 2011.
