Star-singer Jalex has made all preparations to produce an eight-tracker album that can in very sense, square up with the works of other big names in the Senegambia music scene. Jalex is a Gambian artist who is very near and dear to the hearts of music lovers, not only in The Gambia but to the world at large.

He said that album contains 7 tracks. Jalex revealed that it took him one year to be able to complete the work of his second album.

In his attempt to develop his musical acumen, the Bakau-born artist was fortunate to have tremendous sessions with a coterie of professional musicians around the world. This, without doubt, has contributed greatly in honing his talents. Commenting on his achievements as a musician, Jalex said in 2007, he received an award from the UK-Senegambia as the Best Coming UK-Senegambian Artist. According to him, a second award was also given to him by the UK-Gampirit music as the best Solo artist. The third award, he explained, was given to him by The Gambia Talent in the US as the best Afro-manding Song. "All these awards is because of my hard work," he explained. Jalex who is now widely known as an international artist called on all artists in the country to work hard for the development of music in The Gambia. He urged musicians to sing about the truth, which he said, would last forever.
