Ken Abdoulie Mansally’s Real Salt Lake weekend goalless draw against Vancouver Whitecaps has given them a spot for the Major League Soccer playoffs.

The Gambian striker who played five MLS matches and three CCL games for Real featured in the weekend end of season crucial game, playing for 78 minutes.

The point moves RSL up to second in the West, and they will meet Seattle Sounders in the conference semi-finals on Friday when the Sounders will play host to Real Salt Lake at the CenturyLink field.

Real Salt Lake recently crashed out to the CONCACAF Champions League group after failing in a must win game.

Sanna Nyassi’s Montreal Impact, Mamadou Futty Danso’s Portland Timbers, as well as New England Revolution did not make it to the play offs as the MLS regular season ended.

Montreal Impact finished off their first season in MLS with a 1-0 loss to the New England Revolution Saturday afternoon at Saputo Stadium, goal.com has revealed.
