The knock out champions Manchester United FC were held to a goalless draw by Santos United FC in a friendly game played at the Niamina Football Field on Sunday.
The friendly game was part of both sides preparations for the 2011/2012 Nawettan season, which is expected kick off early September 2011 with a super cup final.
The keenly-contested game was characterized by brilliant exhibition of skills and talent, and both sides launched a series of goal-scoring opportunities in front of each others goal mouth, but the game failed to produce a goal and ended in a stalemate.
