A man called Alasan Cham was recently arraigned
before Magistrate Bojang of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with
careless driving.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D2,500 with a Gambian surety, who must swear to an affidavit of means and deposit an ID card.
Hearing was adjourned till 20 July 2015.
The charge sheet read in court stated that on 9 June 2015, along Sayerr Joba Avenue, he drove a motor vehicle without due care and attention, and thereby caused an accident.
