Man arraigned for alleged theftWednesday, February 08, 2012 A man accused of stealing from a dwelling house was recently arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court. Musa Sanneh denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50, 000 with a Gambian surety with an ID card. The charge sheet read in court stated that Musa Sanneh, on 6 December 2011, at Pipeline, in the Kanifing Municipality, stole from the house of one Momodou Bah the following: DVD player (value unknown), one vanity box containing £630 equivalent to D27,000, five gold bangles (value unknown), gold earrings (value unknown), gold chain (value unknown), fashion jewellery valued at D10,000, 22-kilo gold valued at D200, two laptops valued at D81,000, and perfumes valued at D500.
