Barely three days before the start of the 2009, Muhammed Yahya Jammeh's Zonal Football Championship, the Head Coach of Lamin Zonal team, Yahya Manneh is confident that his side would certainly make an impact this time around.
According to him, teams would prepare well for their opening encounter against Brikama on Sunday 22nd November 2009, at the Brikama Mini Stadium.
The Western Region side which is set to play Brikama in their opening fixtures on Sunday November 22nd in Brikama in an all western regional derby, recently drew 2-2 with the Gunjur zonal team, at Gunjur Playing Grounds in a warm-up match for both sides.
Commenting on the team's level of preparedness, Yahya told Pointsport that his boys are well prepared and ready for victory this year as, according to him, the team is blessed with a lot of young talented players that can bring good results to their fans.
He pointed out that the Lamin community is also behind the team and are confident to look forward for an impressive performance in this year's show.
