Kunkujang Pilgrimage is Saturday

The annual pilgrimage to Our Lady Queen of Peace Shrine at Kunkujang, in Kombo South, Western Region is scheduled for Saturday 6thDecember 2008.

According to a press release from the Catholic Shrine Committee, this year's pilgrimage, the 22ndof its kind, will begin with a Solemn High Mass at 10am to be celebrated by His Lordship most Rev. Robert P. Ellison CSSp, Bishop of Banjul. This will be followed by a whole day of prayer, ending in the evening around 5pm.

"The Bishop of Banjul is pleased to invite all men and women of goodwill in our beloved country to this national day of prayer for peace and progress of our dear motherland and all its people and for the whole world", the release added.
