Kombo South District Sports Committee (KSDSC) on 17 November 2013 reviewed its 2012-2013 district football tournament at the Gunjur Day Care Centre.

The reviewed meeting brought together delegates from affiliated villages within the district to discuss the 2012-2013 and the 2013-2014 Kombo South District football tournaments.

Speaking at the meeting, the chairman of KSDSC, Buba Bada Bojang, said the 2012-2013 Kombo South District football tournament was successful, adding that the turnout was not good compared to the previous Kombo South District football competition.

Bojang applauded Sifoe for retaining the Kombo South District football tournament title the second consecutive time.

He also thanked all villages for exercising discipline and tolerance during the 2012-2013 Kombo South district football tournament.

The Secretary General of KSDSC, Omar Jammeh, said the district tournament is organised to groom, nurture, promote and develop talented players as well as to secure more divisional teams and divisional players in Kombo South.

The delegates from the affiliated villages have agreed that the 2013-2014 Kombo South District football tournament will commence at the end of December 2013 and the next meeting is set for Sunday 24 November 2013 at the Gunjur Day Care Centre.
