Kombo South District Sports Committee suspends Sanyang

Kombo South District Sports Committee (KSDSC) has suspended Sanyang village for their next Kombo South District Football Tournament with a fine of D5,000 after failing to turn up for the 2011 KSDSC football tournament final against Sifoe at the Gunjur Nyamina football field last November.

According to the chairman of KSDSC, Buba Bada, Sanyang village were suspended by the district sports committee after failing to turn up for the tournament final in November 2011.

He stated that they were fined D5, 000 to replace money spent by the district sports committee during the final after they decided to boycott the game.

He also said their 30-man squad registered, will not take part in the next district tournament to be organised by the KSDSC in future.
