Jambanjelly host Banyaka in Kombo South District tourney

Jambanjelly will welcome Banyaka in the 2015 Kombo South district football tournament today, Friday 5 June 2015, at the Jambanjelly football field.

Jambanjelly are unbeaten in the 2015 Kombo South district football tournament after their 1-0 win over Gunjur Kunkujang and 1-1 draw with Tunjureng in their two opening games. They will therefore be striking for a win to maintain their unbeaten run in the competition.

Banyaka, who lost to Tujereng 1-0 in the opening game played at the Tujereng fortnight ago, have bounced back in the tournament following their slender 1-0 win over whipping Gunjur Kunkujang in their last fixtures played at the Banyaka football field.

They will be stretching for a win against Jambanjelly to grip their second victory in the tournament.

Elsewhere, Gunjur Kunkujang will clash with Tujereng at the Gunjur Kunkujang football field on the same day. Gunjur Kunkujang will be hoping to recover after losing their two opening games against Jambanjelly and Banyaka 1-0 respectively to boost their hopes of reaching the quarterfinals.

Tujereng are unbeaten in the tournament after beating Banyaka 1-0 in the opening game played at the Tujereng football field a fortnight ago and 1-1 draw with Jambanjelly at the Jambanjelly football field at the weekend.

They will be struggling for a victory against Gunjur Kunkujang to keep their unbeaten run in the tournament.

On Saturday 6 June 2015, Tanji will battle it out with Mamuda at the Tanji football field. Tanji and Mamuda are unbeaten in their two opening games and will be considering a win against each other to retain their unbeaten run in the tournament.

Elsewhere, Batokunku will play against Nyofelleh at the Batokunku football field on the same day. Both teams will be searching for a victory against each other to snatch their position in the tournament after losing their previous outings to Tanji and Mamuda at the weekend.

On Sunday 7 June 2015, the champions Sifoe will meet Berending at the Sifoe football field.

Sifoe will be fighting for a win against Berending to snatch the maximum points in order to fancy their chances of retaining their Kombo South district football tournament crown four times consecutively.

Berending, on other hand, will be aiming for a victory against the champions Sifoe to improve their hopes of winning the tournament.

Elsewhere, Kartong will rub shoulders with debutant Pacholing at the Kartong football field. Both sides will be searching for victory against each other to grab the vital three points.
