FC will face Young Santos in the 2019 late Modou Janneh memorial intermediate
league final after winning their semifinal encounters, played at the Gunjur
Upper and Senior Secondary School football field over the weekend.
Jabas
defeated Ajax 2-1 in the semifinal to navigate to the final for the first time
in their history after their woeful performance in the previous years.
Young Santos beat Sanchaba 1-0 in the
semifinal to reach the final for the second time in a row after defeating Young
Red Star Family on penalties in the last year’s final.
They
will play against Asselem in the knock-out final after defeating Young
Sunderland 3-2 in the semifinal game, played a fortnight ago.
