International Comedians Takes Centre Stage

The International Comedians of The Gambia have taken the centre stage in entertaining their fans and the Gambian audience as they have embarked on sensitizing youths on different aspects of comedy in society as they intensify their grip on the act.

The International Comedians who are bent on entertaining their fans have made mark in the comedy arena and are aiming at getting close to every Gambian or international people in the country.

Foday Bayoh, the leader of the ICG (International Comedian Group) reiterated their resolve to reach out to school children first who would then see what they can do and would spread the good news. "We have embarked on school tour to in Region One and Two. We have embarked along side advertising for julbrew on their brand new Youki drink. This has seen a lot of improvements in their sale and children's participation. Teachers have also cooperated and principals have give tremendous support to the comedy," he said.

Gibril Koroma alias Pastor, an enthusiast in acting and comedy, and a member of the same group said, "Our aim is to let people laugh and forget their troubles. The fun we make would let people repeat it when alone and would laugh always. Going to our show has improved a lot of things and we are happy to be part of those who make sad people laugh their heads off," he said.

According to Foday Bayoh their group leader, said they were bent on improving their group. "We have added drama and dancing group to the comedy to make it more interesting and to encourage more children to learn and be part of those who entertain the world. We are ready to entertain at parties, public functions, school, and any home. Call us and we can do it for you, as you want it. 7065033 to book in.
