With the level of morale in camp and the apparent team spirit that has been manifested by Gunjur's zonal team this year, the head coach of the team, Kaku Jabang, is of the view that his boys deserve something to cool their nerves having waited quite a while without a trophy.

As Gunjur maintain their unbeaten record to the semi final in the Muhammad Yahya Jammeh Zonal Competition, the head coach Lamin Kaku Jabang believes that with this current team they are likely to win silverware in the zonals.

Coach Jabang continued to brag openly about the performance of his team saying "it was not achieved overnight". He added that, Gunjur used to be the minors in the zonal competition. He recalled that teams used to beat Gunjur mercilessly with big scorelines, but now, "it's our turn to whip any opponent who stands in their way".

However, Coach Jabang maintained that for the game to showcase its flavour, referees should always apply properly the rules of the game without any prejudice in the interest of fair play and good sportsmanship.

Coach Jabang blissfully thanked his technical bench and the support committee for their support. He urged the fans to remain calm and continue their support as the zonal title is for Gunjur. He concluded.
