Gunjur Forth Scouts Embark on Cleansing Exercise

Speaking to The Point, the GLS leader of the Gunjur forth Kombo South scout troupe, Saidou Bojang, they choose the health centre because of the importance of the place.

He stated that cleansing the environs of the health centre will eradicate the lives of mosquitoes and also reduce malaria in the area.

He expressed optimism that scouts will continue to embark on this kind of exercise in other parts. Gunjur also revealed that cleansing the radio station will create conducive environment for the staff of radio station to do their work effectively and also eliminate the lives of mosquitoes in the area.

For his part, the marketing officer Gunjur Radio Station Jamehkoto FM, Bolang Darboe, alias M.C. JOJ, hailed the scouts for their for benevolent support towards the cleansing the environment of the radio station.

He said the cleansing exercise will go along way in improving the health condition at the radio station and urged them to keep up the momentum.
