GTBank win the 2012 Late Famara Jatta Interbank Tourney

By GTBank have won the 2012 trophy at the expense of the Central Bank of The Gambia in the Late Famara Jatta’s Interbank Competition held on Saturday at the Father Gough Complex in Manjai Kunda.

Abdou Sanyang began to secure the lead for GTBank after opening the first goal at the 23rd minutes of the first session.

Abdoulie Jallow, who was brought in earlier in the first session, doubled up the score for GTBank in few minutes into the second half of the match, which ended 2-0 against the Central Bank.

The game was tightly played and dominated by GTBank who utilised their opportunities to grab the trophy.

At the end of the 2012 tournament, GTBank went home with a prize of D20,000 while the bankers’ bank was also given D15,000 as runners-up.
