The Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) has released its calendar of activities for 2011 academic year set to commence in early February 2011.
The Trust Bank sponsored inter-schools athletics heat for upper basic schools in the West Coast Region and the provinces will take place on 5 February 2011. The event will be held in Brikama, Pakerlinding, Kerewan and the Central River Region.
The inter-school athletics heat for senior secondary schools in the provinces and West Coast Region to be held in the Central River Region, Essau, Kerewan and Brikama is set for 12 February 2011.
The inter-school athletics for upper basic and senior secondary schools in the Greater Banjul Area to be held at the Independence Stadium in Bakau is set for 25, 26 and 27 February 2011, while the national athletics championship final is billed for 11 and12 March 2011, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
The 2011 Coca-Cola Gambega sponsored volleyball and football championship is scheduled for May\June.
