GSASA set for extraordinary congress on Sunday

The Gambia Swimming & Aquatic Sports Association (GSASA) is set to hold its 1st extraordinary congress, slated for Sunday 10 November 2013 at the Serrekunda East Football Park at 10am prompt.

The extraordinary congress among other things shall give the congress delegates the opportunity to listen to activity reports from 2011-2013 and elect their Executive Bureau members.

According to the Secretary General Yorro Njie, the extraordinary congress is a constitutional requirement and needs to be fulfilled by GSASA Executive Bureau.

He argued all the stakeholders and Clubs to be present and exercise their constitutional rights.

The Gambia Swimming & Aquatic Sports Association founded on 19 February 2011, under the first leadership of Yahya Al Matarr Jobe, despite it been young, recorded tremendous achievements both national and international.
