The Gambia Press Union, in collaboration with Media Agenda, will tomorrow Thursday 16th December commemorate the 6th anniversary of the cold-blooded murder of Deyda Hydara, Co-publisher and Editor of The Point Newspaper.
The commemoration, to be held at the TANGO Hall in Fajara, will be done in the form of a public lecture on the topic: “The impact of the internet on the Future of the Newspaper”.
Mr George Christensen, proprietor Radio 1 FM will be the guest lecturer.
Meanwhile, also on the same day, a recitation of the Holy Quran will be held at the residence of the late Deyda Hydara in Bakau Katchikally at 4 pm.
