Good start for Pa Saikou's Frankfurt in German 2

The first game of the German second Bundesliga has proven to be a bright start for Gambian international Pa Saikou Kujabi and FSV Frankfurt after beating opponents Arminia Bielefeld  2-1.

The German second side which is set to end three years of playing at Second Division scored the first three goals of the game from a J. Gjasula in the 11th and Cidimar in the 23rd minute before Fischer sent in the consolation for opponents.

Earlier FSV Frankfurt laid a 2-0 win over Paderborn in the German DFB Porkal Championship, and this according to Head Coach Hans-Jürgen Boysen on FSV’s site is a better start.

He admitted that the side now has more points than last season after nine matches.

After winning 2-1 in their season’s opener on Wednesday against Brussels, Mustapha Jarju and Mons lost 3-1 to SV Roeselare in the Cup Championship on Saturday.

Pa Dembo Toury and Kebba Ceesay’s Djurgardens 1-0 win over Brommapojkarna Saturday night sent them to 10th and 23 points in the Swedish Allsvenskan table.

Tijan Jaiteh and Mohammed Keita shared points on Saturday in the all-Gambian clash between Stromsgodset and SK Brann in the Norwegian top flight league.

Brann's Guastavino opened the scoring in the 34th minute and Nordkvelle in the 69th minute nullified the score sheet for Stromsgodset.

Pa Modou Jagne and St. Gallen ended a pointless run in 4 fixtures after sharing points with FC Scion on Saturday in the Swiss Axpo Super League. Though still at the bottom of the table, St. Gallen has now moved a single step up to closest opponents.
