The 2013-2014 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) national domestic league curtain-raiser, better known as the Super Cup final, is slated for Sunday 12 January 2014, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau at 4.30pm.

The much-awaited final will feature 2012-2013 league champions Steve Biko and 2012-2013 FA Cup champions Gamtel.

Both sides will use the Super Cup final to themselves fit and ready for the 2013-2014 domestic league as well as their respective continental clubs competitions set to commence in February 2014.

League champions Steve Biko will clash with Algerian side Setif in the 2014 CAF Champions league preliminaries, while FA Cup champions Gamtel will rub shoulders with Armed Forces of Sierra Leone in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminaries.

Giant killers Steve Biko will be hoping for a winagainst the telecom giants to clinch the Super Cup title after failing to land the title for many years.

The telecom giants, on the other hand, will also be expecting a victory against the giant killers to lift the Super Cup title after losing to Real De Banjul 1-0 in the final last season.

The Super Cup final marks the beginning of the new GFF National domestic division one league.
