Thursday, February 02, 2012

The GFA newly appointed regional coach Bubacarr Demba, alias Boris, has vowed to develop the potentials of regional players.

The former assistant coach of the GFA first division team Steve Biko also outlined his ambition to transform the regional football standard into becoming a highly respected footballing region.

According to him, he was in URR in 2008/09 as a coach and during which time he was able to train and coach many teams in the region.

Borris also said he became an inspirational figure for the young players to better their careers. “I have seen a lot of potentials in the young players, who could be assets for the country,” he said.

He assured the people of URR of his unflinching support to ensure their desired goals in sport are achieved.

Coach Borris replaced Coach Badou Saidy as the regional coach in October 2011.
