GFA 2nd Division Reaches Climax

The 2008-09 GFA second division league will reach its eighteen games this week. As part of week eighteen games, Serrekunda United will battle it out with Young Africans later today in Manjai.

Serrekunda United are 7th position on the standing with 17 points from seventeen games and hoping to bounce back 0-0 with Jambanjelly in their week seventeen games while Young Africans are 8th position on the table with 16 points from seventeen games and are hoping to follow their narrow 1-0 defeat in hands of the league leaders Interior last Wednesday.

Lamin FC will face GPA at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on thursday

GPA currently 2nd position on the standing with 32 points from seventeen games and are hoping for victory in order to gain promotion to the first division next season while Lamin FC are 5th position on the table with 23 points from seventeen games even a defeat for them today they will play second division next season.

Serrekunda East will Jambanjelly tomorrow.  Serrekunda East 3rd position with 32 points from seventeen games and they need only a victory in order to gain promotion to the first division next season while Jambanjelly are already relegated to the 3rd division finishing at the bottom of the table with 9 points from seventeen games.

Interior will take on Ham Ham at the Brikama Mini Stadium. Interior are currently leading the table with 34 points from seventeen games and are hoping for a win in order to gain promotion to the first division next season.
