Gambia CHAN team slap Morocco U-20 team after goalless stalemate in 1st int’l friendly

The Gambia CHAN team on Tuesday beat Morocco U-20 team 3-2 in their second international friendly match after their goalless stalemate in the first international friendly played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Sunday.

The home-based Scorpions were forced to a goalless draw by the Atlas Lions in the first international friendly at the weekend before their second international friendly at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama.

The Gambia opened the scores through Hawks midfielder in the 7th minute of the game from the penalty spot

Morocco U-20 team levelled the scores through Yusuf El Madi in the 8th minute of the game to cancel Mustapha Drammeh’s 7th-minute opener to make it 1-1.

Morocco U-20 team were 2-1 up in the 53rd minute of the game through Clichy Soufian before Bombada FC prolific striker Mustapha Drammeh levelled matters for The Gambia CHAN team few minutes later.

Mustapha Drammeh netted the winner for the Gambia CHAN team in the dying minutes of the game to earn the home-based Scorpions a narrow win over the Atlas Lions as well as to complete his brace.
