Schools are warming up for the 2011 inter-schools athletics championship, with inter-house competitions in preparation for the much anticipated inter-schools athletics championship slated for 11 to 12 March 2011 at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
This was characterised by delightful exhibition of skills and talent which attracted large crowds from Gunjur and its environs. At the end of the events, Foday Sillah House were crowned champions of the 2011
Cabral occupied second position with 475 points, Kwame took the third position with 433 points, while last year’s champions Samory finished at the bottom of the table with 425 points.
