Finland hosts match of the season

The Finnish Veikkausliiga will host what looks like the match of the season, as leading HJK Helsinki will host runners-up Honka on Saturday.

The Dawda Bah's side, HJK at 37 points who are set to defend their title this season looks set to beat Demba Savage's Honka, to achieve this dream. In another ward, Honka at 31 came so close to overtake HJK, and Saturday's contest will give them the opportunity to reduce the gap should they manage to beat HJK at home.

In Norway, Stromsgodset and Banjul-born Muhammed Keita will  host Tijan Jaiteh's SK Brann on Saturday.  The two Gambian stars will face each other in a clash between a top and struggling opponent. Stomsgodset is 5th with 32 points with Jaiteh and Brann have 22 points and 12th on the Norwegian Tippeligaen.

Abdou Darboe and Honefoss at 14th and 20 points will play host to Stabeak on Sunday.

Dawda Leigh and Kristian Brix Valerenga will play fellow Gambian compatriots side Ebrima Sohna and Sandefjord on Monday.  The duel of Gambian stars in Norway will be a weekend cracker, as both teams will be looking for the maximum points to push forward their 2010/11 campaign.  Valerenga is currently second  with 37 points  and 9 behind leaders  Rosenborg,  while weekend opponents  Sandefjord who has so far demonstrated a poor run in the season are languishing at the bottom of the table with  8 points.

In the Danish SAS-Ligaen, Njogu Demba and Odense BK will play away to Sonderjyske on Saturday as part of Week Five matches.  The 2009/10 Danish vice-champions so far managed to lay a single win  and a draw, thus landing them on 4 points and 9th on the table.

Ousman Jallow and Paul Jatta's Brondby who have so far won three matches will host Esbjerg on Sunday.

Amadou Jawo's Elfsborg are 4th with 30 points and will clash with Kalmar in the Swedish Allsvenskans on Saturday.

Mustapha Jarjue and Belgian Second Division side Mons are set for the curtain-raiser of the cup match against Ciney on Sunday.

The Second Division out-fit will later take on championship side Brussels in Santiago for the first match of the season.

Gambian midfielder Pa Saikou Kujabi and German outfit are set for the start of the 2010 second Bundesliga against Paderborn tonight August 13th, at the Frankfurter Volksbank Stadion.

Tonight's encounter is part of Germany - DFB Pokal competition first round matches.

Bayern München are the defending champions of this title after beating Werder Bremen 4-0 in the finals in the 2009/10 show.

FSV Frankfurt failed to make it pass the first round, as they were knocked out of the competition by Borussia VfL Mönchengladbach in the first round.

In the Swiss Axpo Super League, Young Boys will host Abdourahman Dampha's Neuchatel Xamax on Saturday in week 5 of the Swiss top- flight league matches.  Dampha and Neuchatel Xamax are faced with the task of overturning a winless run in 4 fixtures after managing a single draw.

Pa Modou Jagne's St Gallen is 8th with 3 points and will meet the Grasshoppers on Sunday.
