The winner of this competition was Dodou Gassama, and in joint second place were Gibou Jallow and Fakebba Drammeh.
The competition for amateur players is in the format of The Ryder Cup - that is the Rest of The World against a team made up of nationals from Great Britain and Ireland.
The format was a pair’s competition - and there were 16 matches in the form of match play.The Rest of The World ‘won back’ the Ryder Cup Trophy (sponsored by Tata) by a score of 8 and a half against 7 and a half.
The sponsors made available a breakfast for all competitors as well as drinks on the course.
At the conclusion of play, the amateurs and professionals adjourned to The Vineyard Restaurant for a donated meal and the awards ceremony.
