The former administrator at the National Drug Enforcement Agency, (NDEA), Commissioner Yusupha Jatta, was recently granted bail by Justice M. Abdoulah of the Banjul High Court.
The bail condition was for D2,000,000, with two Gambian sureties with landed properties within the Greater Banjul Area, whose collective value shall not be less than D2 million.
Commissioner Yusupha Jatta was charged alongside other former senior officers of the National Drug Enforcement Agency at the Banjul Magistrates’ Court with eleven counts and the case was transferred to the High Court.
