Egalitarian to release fourteen-track album

Momodou Lamin Bah alias Egalitarian has completed all preparations to released his fourteen-track album entitled "Work Around". The fourteen-track album by Egalitarian will soon hit the shelves of recording studios, Entertainment has learned. The multi-flavoured production is the third album to be released by Egalitarian.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment, Isatou Jobe, marketing manager for Egalitarian, said the album is expected to be released on Monday 28 June 2010, adding that it is another bonus for the upcoming Gambian artist. According to her, after the release of the album, one has to do a booking and after the booking, the first 5000 are going to be part of a raffle of D10,000, 7000, 5000, 3000 and 1000 dalasis.

"If you buy the cassette, there will be questions and answers and the answers will be sent to LG. There is going to be a live raffle on GRTS."

Ms Jobe added that after the raffle, one could win a TV, DVD etc. She, therefore, thanked Global Properties and LG for sponsoring the album.

The marketing manager said there would be a press conference on Monday at the Alliance Franco Gambiene along the Kairaba Avenue. All media houses are invited to attend.

Egalitarian is a musical genius, whose style is very dear to the heart of music lovers in The Gambia, and the young. Born in 1981 in Brikama, Western Region of The Gambia, Egalitarian came from a family that has deep rooted in music as his father was a celebrated violin player.

Bitten by the musical bug at a tender age, Egalitarian formed his own group called D Tribinal in 1997, and one year later left the group to start his solo career.
