A friendly match between doctors and lawyers will take place on Sunday April 26th 2009 at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, as part of the 19th edition of the May Day Sports.

Organised by the GNOC, the May Day Sports is a unique sports event which aims to bring workers from all sectors of the economic to celebrate in an atmosphere as exuberance, camaraderie and social cohesion and to encourage everyone to use sport as a means of keeping fit and healthy.

According to the GNOC, doctors and lawyers have not been doing enough in sports because of their busy schedules and they hope to establish this match as an annual event which will help to encourage them to participate more in sports in order to keep fit.
