Dippa Kunda United and Camble Town Shares the Spoils

Thursday, August 06, 2009

Top striker Ebrima Ndow, alias Ndow, always proved to be the light at the end of the tunnel for Dippa Kunda United (D.K), but even his relentless efforts and strikes could not save his team from a 2-2 draw with Camble Town.

The two teams engaged in a hard tussle and occasionally each had some chances to score goals during penalties, but no goal was registered. Dippa kunda United nearly broke down when Camble Town's very own number 5 Alagie Jobe scored an unbelievable goal against D.K at the 12th minute and another goal registered by number 14 Adama Jaiteh at the 36th minute. The D.K boys were awakened from their trance when their supporters decided that that wasn't the end of the game by drumming soul reviving sounds and singing at the top of their voices

Amidst, fellow talented players, D.K's number 8 Assan Mbye tapped home the 48th minute goal that stunned the Camble Town supporters and nearly caused a fight between the two teams.

Not before long, Dippa Kunda United's number 14 Salifu Singhateh, registered the 67th minute goal and the game ended 2-2 for both teams.
