Criminal trespass case heard

Principal Magistrate Effirm of the Brikama Magistrates' Court recently heard a case of criminal trespass brought against one Dingding Sambou.

On count one, the particulars of offence stated that the accused, Dingding Sambou on 27th April 2010, at Kunkunjang village entered into the compound of one Mariama Sankareh, with intent to intimidate and annoy her.

Count two stated that the accused, on the same day, month and year, threatened to kill the said Mariama Sankareh.

Meanwhile, the accused who pleaded not guilty to the charge was granted a court bail in the sum of D25, 000, with one Gambian surety.
