Company Ten Thrashed Makasutu in Female League Opener

africa » gambia
Monday, May 04, 2009

Four solid goals in the second half, over the weekend marked the beginning of Company Ten's 2009 Gambia Football Association First Division Female league title chase.

The Serrekunda-London outfit beat a well composed Makasutu side 4-0 on Saturday at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Despite being tactful and possessing the lion share of balls in the first half, Makasutu fell to Company Ten in the first ten minutes of the Second Half which led to their lack of concentration and therefore leading to their heavy defeat.

Newcomers, Armed Forces squeezed a 2-0 victory out of the City Girls in the lower league played earlier on Saturday.

Fanta Jarju and Sirreh Jammeh registered their names on the score sheet for the Khaki Girls.
