Coca-Cola Gambega sponsored Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association's football tournament, which kicked-off recently continues to attract interest from a good number of spectators across the country where the top team from each group qualify for the final round.

The tournaments which is in its second week of some thrilling football and volleyball encounters saw Old Yundum drew 1-1 against the visitors Tujering, as part of the opening match before Kabafita entertained Jambanjelly to a deserved 2-0 victory at Jambanjelly playing ground on the same day.

Mindaw started the campaign with a narrow 1-nil defeat over Brikama in their own backyard, while the last game which has also witnessed an exciting match confirmed a 2-nil score line for Gunjur at the expense of Jamisa in their own town.

Presentation and Penyeem encounter ended 2-nil in favour of Presentation, while Kunkujang Keitayaa lost to Kitty by a narrow goal margin of 1 recently, at the Kunkujang Keitayaa football field.

Meanwhile, the rest of the results are listed below: Arrangallen 0 St. Francis 2, on Sunday 16th May, Kabafita 0 Old Yundum 2, Tujering 2 Jambanjelly 0, Brikama 2, Jamisa 0, Gunjur 3 Mingdaw 0, Friday 21st May, Penyeem 1 Kunkujang Keitayaa 2, Kitty 4 Presentation 0, Old Yundum 2, Jambanjelly 0, Tujering 2 Kabafita 0.

Saturday 22th Mingdaw 2 Jamisa 0, Brikama 2 Gunjur 1.

On Sunday 23th May, Penyeem 1 Kitty 0 and Presentation this time around lost 2-nil to Kunkujang Keitayaa.
