Brufut League Reaches its Climax

The 2008 league final in Gunjur is now set for the final. The game will feature Comium F.C and Any and Lamin Jammeh F.C at the Brufut Football Field on a date to be announce after the Tobaski.

The two finalists played their semis in the past weekend. Following a frog leap by both teams to secured a place in the finals. Any and Lamin Jammeh F.C stung Great Alliance F.C 1-0 at the Brufut Football Field.

In the other Semi final Comium F.C won a narrow victory over Sait Matty F.C at the same football pitch. As a result, these two teams automatically qualified to play the finals.

Speaking to Pointsports, the Western Region Coach Mr. Baboucarr Jallow said, "the Nawettan is well contested and produced many talents in Brufut and its surrounding areas".

He then commended the players for their high sense of discipline during the tournament.
