Two Gambian clubs, Brikama United and Gamtel, will this month engage US Ouakam and Cassa Sport, both of Senegal, in the CAF champions League and Confederation Cup respectively on home soil.

League champions Brikama United will first take on their counterparts US Ouakam in the first leg of the CAF Champions League on Saturday 18 February 2012 at the Box Bar Mini-stadium in Brikama at 4:30pm, while FA Cup holders Gamtel will host Cassa Sport on Sunday 19 February 2012 in the first leg of the Confederation Cup at the Serekunda East Mini-stadium at 4:30pm.

The Gambia Football Association in support of the two Gambian clubs is encouraging all and sundry to come out in their numbers to support the two clubs in their quest to qualify for continental club competitions.
