Banjul Fine Arts Festival Slated 4th January

Preparations are far advanced for the upcoming Banjul Fine Art Festival slated for 4th January 2010 at the Alliance Franco Gambienne.

The fine art festival, which grows from a small, local art show to a nationally recognized fine arts festival, is expected to attract more than 150,000 art lovers and collectors.

According to the organizer, Yusupha Kala the collection will feature a captivating selection of innovative and talented emerging and mid career artists from around the world. Yusupha Kala explained that the festival is expected to feature 50 Juried artists along with artist demonstrations, youth art competition, art youth, children's interactive activity area, private art preview, celebrity art auction, music entertainment and many more.
