Bakau Nawetaan continues to gather pace

Bakau Zonal and Sports Committee has released the fixtures of the Knockout competition which pit Senior Lions and Njogu Demba, who became the winner of the first knockout match with a narrow 1-0 win on Tuesday as the Bakau Newetaan continues to gather pace at its Mini Stadium.

This was followed by another titanic encounter, as Assan Jatta's strike gave Ron Mango all the vital points at the expense of Zebra as part of the second game of the competition on Wednesday.

At the time of filing this report yesterday, Julangel were rubbing shoulders with 5 Junction at the Bakau Mini Stadium, which is expected to be followed by a mouthwatering match between Rakel and the Bakau

Newtown outfit Saul Samba Tomorrow.

Weekend's game will witness a clash of titans when Mamakoto travel to the Bakau Mini Stadium to face in-form Luniburg on Saturday.

One game that is expected to produce some fantastic performance and revelation is the clash between neighbours and bitter rivals Milan and Vidar when the two sides meet on Sunday.

The final game of the second round fixtures in the knockout competition will be played between Scantours and Bremen Border on Tuesday.

Meanwhile the League quarter-final fixtures have also been released; that is also expected to produce some exciting Nawetaan matches.

The first game in the league quarterfinal will feature two teams from the same area - Ron Mango and Saul Samba - on Thursday, 21 October at the Bakau Mini Stadium.

The other games on Friday will see Mamakoto lock horns with 5 Junction while Vidar entertain Senior Lions the following day.

Zebra will meet the Bakau Newtown giants Luniburg on Sunday, October 24 at the Bakau Mini stadium.
