Bahamas have maintained their spectacular performance in the ongoing Sukuta Nawettan, following their convincing 4-0 victory over Premier Games played at the Dembadou Mini Stadium in Sukuta.

The win has boosted Bahamas’ chances of making it to the second round in Sukuta’ biggest summer football fiesta after failing to deliver to expectations in previous years, as well as keeping their hopes of clinching the trophy.

The defeat left Premier Games out of the Sukuta football gala, and they would now switch their attention to the knock-out competition after a woeful performance in the league.

In Brufut, Manchester United beat embattled Chicago 1-0 in the 2014-2014 Late Mamudou Max Jallow Memorial Brufut Nawettan match played at the Brufut football field to fancy their chances of qualifying for the second round.

The win has put Manchester United in the driving seat; the defeat dashed Chicago’s hopes of qualifying for the second round, following their slender defeat to the Red Devils.

The championship is organized by the village sports’ governing body in memory of the late Mamudou Max Jallow, the former Executive Secretary National Sports Council, who passed away 19 May 2013, after a brief illness.
