ASFONWA doles out to students

Abubacarr Sidique Foundation for Orphans and Needy Welfare Association (ASFONWA), a charitable organization, on Tuesday donated learning materials to its sponsored students in Gunjur, as part of efforts at supporting orphans and needy students in Gunjur and environs.

The donated items included books, pencils, pens, shoes and other valuable materials to boost their education.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Gunjur Daycare Centre, the Welfare Officer of Abubacarr Sidique Association, Omar K. Touray, said their foundation was delighted in supporting its sponsored students with learning materials.

He advised the parents to always encourage their children to be serious with their education by studying hard both at home and at school so they can produce good results.
