Armed Forces triumph over Samger

AArmed Forces celebrated a hard fought 2-0 victory against Samger in Saturday's Week Nine of the Gambia Football Association (GFA) First Division League at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium.

Armed Forces opened the score line through Buba Sama, alias Totti from a wonderful shoot from the left side of the field in the 60th minute of the game.

Ousman Jagne sealed the victory in the 93rd minute of the game after capitalising on a defensive blunder to make it 2-0 for Armed Forces.

On the same day, at the Serrekunda West Mini-stadium, Gambia Ports Authority defeated Real De Banjul by 2-1.

Armed Forces now collected 12 points from 7 games with two games in hand, while Samger are at  10 points from 9 encounters.
