The 11-count charges of fraud and forgery preferred against one Mr. Alieu BM John, before the Kanifing Magistrates' Court had again suffered another setback with the continuous absence of the Police Prosecutor.

Cadet Inspector Mballow, who held brief for ASP Bojang told the court that, Prosecutor Bojang is currently attending a training session on peacekeeping mission.

According to him, he is not in custody of the case file and therefore could not proceed with the witness testimony. He consequently applied for an adjournment.

However, Defence Counsel, Edrissa M Sissoho did not object to the application.

The Presiding Magistrate, Joseph Ikpalla subsequently adjourned the case to 22ndDecember 2009 for continuation.
