The theft case involving one Alieu Ceesay was recently adjourned before Magistrate Ibrahim Kijera of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, on the grounds that the prosecution witness in the case was absent in court.
When the case was called, the prosecuting officer applied for an adjournment on the grounds that his witness was not in court.
When the accused was asked by the trial magistrate whether he had any objection to the application made by the prosecuting officer, he said he had no objection to the application.
The case was at that juncture adjourned till 5 March 2014, for the continuation of the prosecution’s case.
