A man called Walter Shyngle was yesterday arraigned at
the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court, charged with being in possession of prohibited
drug for the purpose of drug trafficking and dealing in prohibited drug.
Count one of the charge sheet stated that Walter Shyngle, on 13 July 2012, at Pipeline, in the Kanifing Municipality, was found in possession of 5kg, 380grams of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug.
And count two read that Shyngle had in his possession four bundles of cannabis sativa, a prohibited drug for the purpose of supply by retail or wholesale.
He was remanded in custody before the case was adjourned till 25 September 2012.
