Ajax FC defeated Greenhouse FC by a goal to nil in Saturday's Banjul Nawetaan encounter, at Gambia Senior Secondary School field.
Ajax FC opened the game with brilliant performance and created numerous goal opportunities, but failed to capitalise on them. In the 11th minute of the second half, Ajax FC right-back George Camara gave his side the lead with a spectacular header from a cornerkick.
Greenhouse FC quickly reacted by creating some goal attempts, but had failed to hit the back of the net, and thus George Camara's only goal was enough to secure the maximum points for his side.
Ajax FC now registers four points in two games, while Greenhouse FC are hanging on only a single point in two games.
Earlier on the same day, in the 9 am encounter, Elminite defeated Firehouse 2-1 and in the 3 pm encounter, Marcus FC also beat LK Demba FC 2-1.
