Africell Easter Extravaganza Golf Trophy ends

Four-day Africell Easter Extravaganza Golf competition, organised by the Fajara Club and sponsored by Africell has ended at the Fajara Golf Course on Monday 5th April 2010.

Fakebba Drammeh, alias Tiger Woods emerged the winner of the professionals after completing a total of eighteen holes with a medal score of 70, and received a cash prize of D20, 000. 

Bakary Touray, alias Bax came out second position after finishing a total of eighteen holes with a medal score of 71 and received a cash prize of D15, 000, while Yusupha Tamba occupied third position with a medal score of 72 in a total of eighteen holes, and received a cash prize of D10, 000.

Aman Saleem was named the overall winner of the men Amateurs category and he received a trophy, mobile phone, D10, 000 credit and 12 golf balls, while Vincent Wang came out second position.

In the ladies category, Jayla Kuo was crowned the champion of the overall competition.

The winners for Friday 2nd April 2010 are as follows:

Omar Jadama emerged the winner of the longest drive in the caddies category, Dodou Kasama took second position, while Yankuba Jatta came out third position.

In the professionals category of the longest drive, Bakary Touray came out first position, Lamin Jammeh occupied second, while Pa Famara J. J. Jatta finished third position.

In the Amateurs category, Aman Saleem emerged the winner, Mick Stead came out second position, while Anthony Tabbal occupied third position.

In the target golf, Alagie Drammeh was named the winner in the professionals, while Fakebba Drammeh came out second position.

In the par three competition, Jayla Kuo emerged the winner, Vincent Wang took second position, while Sharon Mears finished third position.

Cindy Kuo was crowned the champion of the beginners competition.

The winners for the medal score for Saturday 3rd April 2010 are as follows:

In the professionals category, Fakebba Drammeh came out first position, Bakary Touray occupied second position, while Yusupha Tamba finished third position.

In the men category 1-17, Mark Goddard took first position, Vidas Daukas came out second position, while David Costello occupied third position.

The longest drive winner went to Abdul Fatty, while the nearest to the pin went to Mick Stead.

In the men category 18-28, Mike Fitzpatrick emerged the winner, Ebrima Jawara came out second position, while Mike Tomlinson finished third position.

In the ladies category, Sharon Mears came out first position, while Linda Larnach occupied second position.

The longest drive winner in the men category went to Aaron Wilson, while that of the ladies went to Linda Larnach.

The winners of the medal score for Sunday 4th April 2010 are as follows:

Carl Jensen emerged the winner of the men category 1-17, Barry Murfin took second position, while Jamil Tabbal finished third position.

Mark Goddard was named the winner of the longest drive, while the nearest to the pin went to Aman Saleem.

In the men category 18-28, John Kuo emerged the winner, Tom Lee occupied second position, while Norris Betheo came out third position.

In the ladies category, Inga Adington came out first position, while Suzanne Lanfermeijer occupied second position.

Vincent Wang emerged the winner of the longest drive in the men category, while that of the ladies went to Suzanne Lanfermeijer. Haddy Cham was named the winner of the nearest to the pin.

In the final day of the competition, Monday 5th April 2010, the 8 professionals played with best 8 Amateurs in the Pro-am doubles match play.

Mark Harrison and Fakebba Drammeh, Barry Murfin and Alagie Drammeh, Carl Jensen and Yusupha Tamba, Vincent Wang and Lamin Jammeh were the winners of the competition.
