Wallidan knocked out the 2006\07 FA Cup holders GPA with a 1-0 victory. GPA's only hope of silverware this season was the FA Cup after they were relegated to the second division league after a poor performance in the domestic league.
The Academy Boys of Samger FC beat Steve Biko FC by 1-0to make itto thefinal. Samger mighttake revenge against rivals Wallidan, after a heavy contest inthisyear's league which saw Wallidan crowned the 2007/08 GFA league champions. They will be looking for the double this year when they meet the Academy Boys.
