Information reaching this paper has it that Musa B Suso, the former disgraced National Assembly member for Kombo North constituency, was last Tuesday picked up by security agents and taken to Mile 2 prison.
According to our sources, Suso was picked up at his Sukuta residence at about Tuesday shortly before break of fast.
Sources have hinted that Musa Suso's arrest is as a result of his earlier pardon being revoked. It would be recalled that Mr Suso was arrested in 2000, then a National Assembly member, charged with drug trafficking. He was arraigned, convicted and sentenced to a jail term of about seven years. Suso was however granted a presidential pardon in June 2007 nearing the end of his jail term.
Currently Suso is standing trial on a charge of giving false information to a public officer.
