Sanjay Donates Air Conditioner to Immigration Dept

Sanjay Punjabi of VG Trading, a businessman, yesterday donated an air conditioner worth D18, 000 to the passport, printing and computer unit of The Gambia Immigration Department.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Immigration public relations officer, chief superintendent Olimatou Jammeh Sonko, commended Mr. Punjabi for the good gesture, noting that the donation will go a long way in assisting the passport unit.

She stated that this is not the first time the donor has assisted her department and called on others to emulate Mr. Punjabi's gesture.
